Have you heard about "The Rapture?"? The end times are near! Believe in Jesus and go to heaven, or suffer on earth during the rule of the antichrist! Basically "The Rapture"? is about that Christ character making all of his true followers disappear off the planet to follow him to heaven right before (or some think slightly after) the antichrist takes over the world and brings an end to civilization as we know it. They call this period of hell on earth "Tribulation." But there is a second chance for non-believers to be "saved"? from all the madness.

Sounds pretty far fetched I know, but people actually believe this. There is even a service that will deliver letters about the event to your loved ones via email when Jesus snatches all the believers away. Before I get to bashing the idiots who believe in this, let me just say that I hope this event happens. No, really it would be cool for a few reasons. We would get rid of all the bible-thumpers in one quick event, it would be the closest thing they EVER had to proof of their ramblings, and lastly being able to say that you saw the end of mankind... that you were THERE... would be cool.

Believers of "The Rapture" myth are also either directly or indirectly participating in antisemitism (Jew hating). On raptureready.com's FAQ they state that "...the Antichrist will likely be accepted by the Jews as their Messiah. In order to biblically qualify, the Messiah must be of Jewish origin."? Skimming through other pages reveals that part of their prophecy involves the Jewish making sacrifices at a temple. That's all we need is more intolorance and hatred among religions.

They also believe that the formation of the European Union is a sign of the coming "Tribulation."? "All current events seem to suggest pretty clearly that the European Union is the revived Roman Empire and that it will usher in the tribulation period and the end of the church age."?

For being a breed of people who pride themselves on being mysterious, indeed illusory - far too many American women complain (paradoxically) that they are frequently dis-satisfied with their sexual encounters. Only someone misled by a social system as decadent as our own, could ever expect to both confuse a man, and yet have him -somehow- be sexually familiar with her...enough to, say, make her cum. I know - we should all pretend to want monogamy.
We should all pretend that we fully understand why it is that the only socially accpetable sexual mentality, in our culture, is monogamy.
There's nothing more fun than pretending!
Let's pretend: "Monogamy is about Love and Romance...and committment", Not just government-regulated sexual repression, and an archaic measure of 'disease-control'. Disease control? Like, what and stuff? Monogamy is about Committment? With a divorce-rate as high as ours, how can anyone even keep a straight face when pretending that monogamy means committment?

As to accusations that any 'lack of help' or 'slow response' was or is racially motivated: Those contentions are only red-herrings splayed to further maintain the stupefaction of the masses. The people who lie about the racial aspect of the Hurricane-Katrina situation, are the same type of idiots (though not the only) who tell the lie, "The civil war was a war waged to Free the Slaves"...

A war was waged...to improve the lives of black people...in the United States...in the 1800s?

...Riiiiight!

Yeah - the war was fought to liberate black people...as is clearly evidenced by how well black people were treated by their noble liberators, post-'civil-war'.
