Sun Tzu and the Toxic Avenger

"In antiquity those that excelled in warfare first made themselves unconquerable in order to await the moment the enemy could be conquered."
-Sun Tzu, The Art of War

So I go out to eat with my father, and he gives me an investment tip during dinner. His advice was to invest in Uranium Mines in Australia, since the Chinese Government just bought out the mines from control of Europeon and North American Control. They are currently building as many as 50 nuclear power plants for the Super Country, and having nothing but nuclear energy, like their sometimes ally, sometimes enemy Japan. Japan is filled with Nuclear power plants, and I often wondered why, and then my military mind comes to a probable and possible reason for the increased interest in nuclear power.

Many countries saw amazing footage of the previous and current Persian Gulf distraction, and along with the movie, Jarhead the world was told this message, American Ground Troops are extremely limited in experience. The placement of Nuclear Power Facilities would limit air strikes to a certain area, forcing any western forces into a ground war, for which their soldiers are far more experienced, not to mention, know the terrain. Students of History know that it is very foolish to wage a land war against Asia. Napoleon figured that one out the hard way. The Korean and Vietnam wars (along with the War of 1812) are taught to us as wars that came to a stand-still, with no clear victor. That is a lie. Our casualties in those three wars clearly out number the enemy, and for the most part our distance and retreat or pull out of the area is pretty ridiculous.

On top of all of this, Bush, being the master strategist and millitary genius that he is, has a goal of spreading our millitary so thin to the point of ineffectiveness. In our own damn millitary history, we have shown what happens when a millitary is divided, and it already philosophically is, asking for the retirement of defense secretary Rumsfeld. Then, you hear stories of our American hero soldiers being forced to lay down the oil pipe with the name Haliburton on it. Certainly, Haliburton is the only corporation that could do the reconstruction of Iraq, however, I'm not entirely sure why we're there.

Saddam Hussein is an asshole. A royal asshole at that. Some one who committed genocide and put fear into the hearts of the people of his country. However, he kept them in check, and now we have a civil war on our hands, and who's responsible? The American People. On top of that, we are facing unemployment, economic recession, and of course, civil unrest. Our civil liberties, our "FREEDOMS" our invaded, all of our private information can be used against us, and on top of that, no one seems to care all that much.

Perhaps it's because of the evils of Abortion and having a strong anti-gay stance, that we have to deal with a "red horse*" president who sends people to death. Though, admittedly, I love gays, and I am pro-choice, I rarely vote on those two issues, since they only come up around elections, and most politicians will not do anything about it, one way or another. Especially when the republican party is known for selling out it's supporters to highest bidders. Can we honestly say that our leader is a faith based leader? Some one who as governor of Texas executed Mentally Retarded people? If so, I think I'm finding his religion and I'm going to start sending poor people off to die so I can build a pipeline of clean Canadian water to my house, and shooting retards when I feel like it. Whenever anyone criticizes me, I will call them a sympathizer with terrorists and a freedom hater. I'll say it real fast because I'll be all lit up on blow, too.

The point to this, in case you're wondering or lost me with shooting retards on blow, is that we're being conditioned for the slaughter. The probable solution is to explain the facts to your representative and senator. In western PA, I have almost all republicans. Write them a letter stressing your concern over Bush's plans to use nuclear weapons in Iran, our millitary being spread thin, and that the American people need to fix our own domestic policies before dictating another country's. Of course, it will probably be ignored, but the meaning is in the action of being an active, informed citizen, not just as an American, but as a human who co-opts this planet.

peace. it's not as hard as it feels.
paul.

*"Red Horse" implies the second horseman of the Apocalypse from the book of revelations, usually associated with war.
